Tithes and Offerings
Faithful stewardship of God's provision
How to Give

You are welcome to give your tithes via Zelle or via check if you attend in-person services.
Why Do We Tithe?
"Tithes" was translated from the Hebrew word ma'aser (4643) and the Greek word dekatoo (1183) — it simply means "tenth part." To tithe means to give the tenth part, or 10%.
We tithe because it is required of us — still today (2 Chronicles 31:4, Luke 11:42, Hebrews 7:5).
The Tithe
- Belongs to GOD (Leviticus 27:30-32, Malachi 3:8-12)
- It is HIS property (Leviticus 25:23, Deuteronomy 6:10-15, Matthew 21:33-34, Psalm 24:1, 1 Corinthians 10:26)
- Is given to honor or respect GOD, acknowledging from where your blessing came (Proverbs 3:9-10, James 1:17, 1 John 1:5)
- Provides the support needed for ministers to do the work of GOD (Numbers 18:20-24, Nehemiah 12:44-47, 1 Corinthians 9:7-14)
- Provides for those who do not have (Deuteronomy 14:27-29, Deuteronomy 26:12, Romans 15:25-27)
Honor the LORD from your wealth and from the first of all your produce; so your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine.
— Proverbs 3:9-10 NASB
Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
— 2 Corinthians 9:7 NASB
